About Lucky Chinese Food
Lucky Chinese Food is one of the chinese restaurants listed in Santa Ana, California. The business is registered at 2509 W McFadden Ave F, Santa Ana, CA 92704; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.
In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Santa Ana; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in California are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 10:30 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Lucky Chinese Food at (714) 542-6100; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Customers rate it 4.3 out of 5 on Google across 372 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded chinese restaurants in Santa Ana.

If you’re going to serve customers who pay to dine in, providing a restroom should be common sense. It doesn’t make sense to offer tables and chairs for people to eat at but not provide a restroom for them to use. If you’re not willing to offer basic amenities, you might as well remove the dine-in seating altogether. It’s disappointing to see a business cut corners at the expense of both its customers and employees. A restroom isn’t a luxury—it’s a basic part of a dine-in experience. Outdated menu already loosing color, I didn’t finish eating my food, place looks dirty imagine the kitchen

My family and I always go to this place because the food is really good and plus they have a good variety of food. My issue with them is that, I ALWAYS ask for “little chow mein” and they always do this… 80% of the plate is chow mein… 🥴 I wish I was able to enjoy more of the other food…. My plate is always left with most of the food which it ends up being just chow mein…

I paid 22$ for two plates (two items combo). If you want to eat on a bugdet this is your place. One plate probably has enough salt to kill a small child. Very greasy but still tastes good even though the meat had been sitting under the heat lamp for while. When you hear cursing and yelling in Cantonese in the back of the restaurant you know its good. Not the best spot I've been to but one shouldn't complain when you aren't spending much.
